Why is it important to have the Al-Mutayyam book collection? (Don’t be shy to ask).
- Because it is written in a narrative style and includes the character “Al-Mutayyam,” a person who had many questions about the Prophetic Biography and struggled to understand major issues, while listening to the doubts raised by Orientalists.
- Each one of us, when reading about something unclear in the Prophetic Biography, finds it difficult to respond, or is told, “Why do you ask in the first place?” even though it is his right to ask and the answers do exist. There is nothing wrong that needs to be hidden. That is why we created this encyclopedia and included answers to many questions, such as:
Why was polygamy permitted?
Is it true that the Prophet married more than once for worldly purposes?
What is the story of drinking camel urine?
What is the issue of the well of Budā‘ah?
Is revelation real?
How was the Prophet subjected to magic, forgetfulness, and harm while he is protected?
Could the Prophet not be a real historical figure, but merely a social reformer?
Could revelation be from Satan?
Could it be the work of Lady Khadijah and her uncle Waraqah ibn Nawfal?
Did the Prophet ever kill anyone?
What is the story of captivity and concubinage of women?
What are the Wars of Apostasy?
Why did we fight, and is Islam a bloody religion, a religion of war?
Is Islam a religion of war or a religion of peace?
We also discussed the miracles of the Prophet and their proof, along with many other questions across numerous topics. - In addition, there is a logical narration of the events of the Prophetic Biography, “from the issue of creation to the passing of the Master of Creation to the Highest Companion,” and many questions that used to cross the mind of “Al-Mutayyam” and frightened him from drawing closer to God. When God opened his heart, taught him, and revealed the truth to him, he transformed from “a seeker blind to the truth” into “Al-Mutayyam” in our Prophet.
- This book is the outcome of hundreds of sources and references from Arabic books and the works of Orientalists, containing logical responses grounded in reason.
It was introduced by His Eminence Professor Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem.
It is a dialogue between a seeker of truth and Al-Mutayyam.
It is not merely a book; it is an experience and a way of life.
A collection of small books ranging from 90 to 180 pages. You can take one as a companion, finish it in a week, share it with others, and live by it, because it is full of stories about the Prophet connected to our contemporary reality, containing subtle insights and gentle reminders that soften the heart. Each book resembles a stage; with every stage you pass, you rise on the path of knowing our Messenger until you reach part 15 and read the farewell line: “Perhaps I shall not meet you after this year.”
No matter how much knowledge a person attains, he remains “illiterate” until he learns about our Prophet. Through this, you begin to walk the path, with the presence of the Prophet as your guide.
It is very important while reading to maintain a regular practice of sending prayers upon the Prophet, so that you may draw as close to him as possible.
